B.A.R.K.S. CLUB

(Bakersfield Airplane Radio Control Society)

Incorporated in 1959, B.A.R.K.S. is the oldest existing radio-controlled
model airplane club in the Bakersfield, California area. 
They are an AMA chartered club (#115).

We are excited to have Best In The West Jet Rally 2011
in Bakersfield, CA at the Elk-Hills Buttonwillow Airport.

Pilots will enjoy the wide open sky and no-restriction air space.

We would like to express our deepest thanks to the members of the club
and the Board of directors for giving us there support for hosting our show.

Club President Robert Raymond and Vice President David Shoffner
have been extremely helpful with the show organizers.
Their behind the scenes work have been very much appreciated.

David Shoffner has been both behind the scenes as well as
working with the Organizers on site improvements. All 67,000 square feet
of Black Sealer Coat will be applied to Buttonwillow Elk-Hills Airport 
prior to this years Best In The West Jet Rally.

We would also like to say thank you to Mr. Ron Brewster and
the Kern County Airport for their support of
